Position Overview: The Manager – Employment Attorney is responsible for providing proactive legal advice and counsel to the Company and its 30,000 employees, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and resolving workplace disputes through negotiation, litigation, or alternative dispute resolution methods.
Experience: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in employment law advice and counsel as well as litigation, either at a law firm or as in-house counsel. In-house experience is strongly preferred.
Location/Relocation: Irving, TX at Michaels headquarters in an in-office environment of four days a week.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience to include base and bonus as well as generous benefits.
Bar: Licensed to practice law and an active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
