Davis & Campbell L.L.C., a boutique business law firm, is seeking an additional experienced Business Immigration Attorney to join our team in either our Peoria or Chicago office. This position is being added to help support the firm’s expanding business immigration practice, serving a dynamic and growing client base.
About the Position:
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience handling employment-based immigration matters, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, TN, and E visas, PERM labor certifications, I-140 immigrant petitions, adjustment of status and consular processing, and I-9 compliance and employer sanctions. PERM experience is preferred, and fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on immigration strategy and compliance for foreign national employees
- Preparing and submitting high-quality filings and supporting documents with DOL and USCIS
- Acquiring and maintaining an expert-level understanding of client matters and immigration procedures
- Communicating effectively with clients and foreign nationals about legal terminology, case processes, and strategies
- Managing multiple projects and competing deadlines with efficiency and precision
- Conducting in-depth legal research and developing practical solutions to complex immigration issues
- Staying informed of changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policies
- Training client representatives on immigration compliance and procedural updates

Starting salary is commensurate with experience, but is anticipated at $125,000-$175,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.
