The City Counselor’s Office is the Civil Law Department for the City of St. Louis.  It houses 40 lawyers and 20 support staff.  The City Counselor serves as chief counsel to elected City officials, City boards and commission, as well as City departments and agencies – including the St. Louis Development Corporation, the Metropolitan Police Department, and St. Louis Lambert International Airport ©2021.  Specifically hiring an individual to assist with dispositive motions, trial, and appeal in 20+ related cases.  Incumbents in this position are responsible for performing advanced legal work in the City Counselor’s Office handling complex litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts.
