Part-Time Local Immigration Law Clerk (Jupiter, FL)

Seeking a local part-time law clerk to assist with immigration matters.
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (with some flexibility).
Location: Jupiter, Florida — near Military Trail and University Boulevard.
This is an in-office position; candidates must be local to the Jupiter area. Remote work is not available.

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience working in an immigration law office.

• Must be able to perform required job tasks independently, with minimal supervision.

• Must have good judgment and the ability to recognize priorities in furtherance of the office’s objectives, taking initiative when appropriate.

• Experience preparing family-based adjustment of status applications with USCIS.

• Familiarity with Immigration Court procedures, including drafting motions and preparing Notices of Filing.

• Ability to complete assigned files and tasks through to final review for the attorney, including mailing or uploading into the system.

Other responsibilities include:

• Working on NVC cases, asylum applications, motions, and other filings.

• Organizing papers, file boxes, schedules, and calendars.

• Scanning and maintaining case files.

• Meeting deadlines and following through on case preparation to completion.
