Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP is seeking an experienced attorney to join the firm’s growing litigation practice group in its West Des Moines, Iowa office.

The position involves handling a diverse caseload, including medical and professional negligence defense, insurance disputes, personal injury matters, and other areas of general civil litigation. Attorneys in the West Des Moines office benefit from meaningful trial and discovery experience, working closely with multiple partners who have extensive litigation backgrounds, while also having the support and resources of the firm’s larger Omaha office.

Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP has more than 40 attorneys practicing across litigation and corporate law, with experience spanning over 25 practice areas. The firm is committed to quality representation, accessibility, and strong advocacy on behalf of its clients, while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

• 6-15 years of litigation experience preferred
• Experience in insurance defense and/or general civil litigation preferred
• Demonstrated experience in legal research and writing
• Experience handling depositions, managing cases, and meeting deadlines
• First or second chair jury and bench trial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with partners and colleagues

Candidates with less litigation experience may be considered based on qualifications.
