POSITION: Reporting to the Chief Operations Counsel, the Regulatory Attorney will support the Company through the interpretation of healthcare regulations and assist in the application of such regulations to Company operations. The position requires specialized knowledge of and experience in the healthcare industry.
LOCATION: Atlanta, Georgia
EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will have 3+ years’ experience and have developed excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, analytical, and research skills. The ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous complex projects is also needed. The successful candidate will have experience communicating with government agencies, including state licensure agencies and federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The successful candidate will also be knowledgeable about the industry and have a strong command of regulations relating to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and state and federal fraud and abuse laws (with specific experience with the Stark Law, the Anti-kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act).
