Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird seeks two experienced criminal prosecutors with advanced trial skills to assist county attorneys with prosecution of felony-level violent crimes. A successful candidate will be committed to protecting victims, supporting law enforcement, and achieving justice for Iowans. The positions will serve in the Statewide Prosecutions Section (formerly known as Area Prosecutions).
Preferred experience would include past jury trial experience prosecuting high-level felonies including death cases and sexual assault prosecutions involving both children and adults.
Positions requires extensive travel throughout Iowa and admission to practice law in Iowa.
