The Charleston, South Carolina office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, has an opportunity for an exceptional associate to join its Wealth Strategies service line. Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of substantial estate planning, trust and probate estate administration experience. Experience with tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions, business entities, and/or tax controversies are all helpful, but not required. An LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning or a CPA license is required. The successful candidate will have an excellent academic record, strong analytical skills, as well as outstanding writing and communication skills.  Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of South Carolina is also required.    What Shumaker offers:
