About the Role

We are seeking a senior counsel or of counsel attorney with significant experience and a primary focus on mall and shopping center leasing to join our real estate team. This position is fully remote and offers flexible work arrangements, making it ideal for an attorney who wants greater control over their time. Part-time candidates will be considered.

The role involves representing property owners in new leases, modifications, renewals, and lease analysis. Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating new leases and modification agreements
• Advising clients on tenant-related issues
• Managing prohibited and exclusive use provisions
• Handling tenant approvals, SNDAs, and estoppels
• Occasionally representing tenants in shopping center lease negotiations and other leasing matters

Experience in construction contracts, particularly tenant improvement construction, is a plus
