Lambda Legal has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for a Senior Attorney or Counsel.

Overview:

Attorneys at Lambda Legal engage in cutting-edge impactful litigation, public policy advocacy, and education furthering Lambda Legal’s mission. They work on trial and appellate litigation, legislative and executive branch lobbying, coalition and other community activities, public education events, and other in-person advocacy and educational activities.

Experience:

The successful candidate will have six or more years of litigation experience with a passion for protecting civil rights and must be licensed to practice law in the required region, or able to waive into the bar in a state in the required region, or willing to take the next available bar exam.

Location/Relocation:

The ideal candidate is located in Dallas and able to commute to the Regional Office as their schedule demands.

Travel:

Periodic travel for as required by court, lobbying, educational, and other duties.

Compensation: Set by CBA based on number of years of experience and location.

For Dallas, the position is targeted at Senior Attorney (6+ years of experience), $101,342 - $136,334; or Counsel (9+ years of experience) $121,813 - $149,967. Lambda will consider candidates with more experience who would receive higher compensation.
