Staff attorneys provide a wide array of high-quality legal services, from advice and brief services to full representation, advocacy, legal outreach, and legal education to protect the rights and represent the interests of the low-income community. Applicants will be considered for opportunities in all areas of civil legal practice areas, including community economic development, consumer, education, employment, family, federal income tax, housing, probate, public benefits, and migrant farmworkers. Staff attorneys are required to work some evenings and weekends.

Member of the SC Bar
Requires complete written and oral fluency in both English and Spanish
Litigation and clinical experience preferred but not required if committed to:
Public Interest/poverty law
Working with low-income, underserved, rural, diverse clients and client communities
Ability to collaborate effectively with other advocates and those agencies that serve the low-income community
Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedures, Rules of Evidence, Rules of the Family Court, and Rules of Appellate Procedure
Excellent relationship-building, leadership, and research skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
Valid driver's license and good driving record as use of firm's vehicles may be required
