This job req is for an Content Attorney with expertise in CEQA/Real Property
CEB is recruiting an attorney with California real property law experience who will apply their legal practice experience, conducting in-depth legal research and analysis, and writing to develop engaging, sophisticated, and practical content for CEB Publication titles and CEB's Practitioner product. Besides independently creating content, the Content Attorney will recruit and collaborate with attorneys and judges to review, edit, and develop content. The Real Property Content Attorney will also write DailyNews articles that address current real property legal developments. The Content Attorney will have the opportunity to collaborate internally in practice area groups. This role would be a great fit for an attorney who loves researching, writing, and editing and is interested in using their expertise and learning new areas of law without the pressure of practicing law. Preference for attorneys with California land use and development, CEQA, and commercial real estate experience.
Salary & Compensation

Law Practice 2+ years of related law practice experience (Required) And
Legal Editing 2+ years of legal editing experience in substantive law area (Required)
Practitioner Awareness Experience and in-depth knowledge of current legal practice and the challenges faced by legal practitioners (Required)
Large Firm Experience with a large firm or government entity preferred (Preferred)
Extensive knowledge of relevant substantive law area (Required)
Excellent writing and editing skills; demonstrated command of the English language (Required)
Excellent project management skills, including supervision of internal staff and resources and effective management of relations with contributors and co-workers (Required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Required)
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (Required)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (Required)
Highly organized and self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and creativity (Required)
