Incumbents will handle civil litigation matters in state court, in federal court, and before administrative bodies. Duties include conducting discovery; arguing motions; presenting evidence at hearings; preparing for trials before judges and juries, participating in all phases of said trials; researching and preparing appellate briefs and arguing appeals at all appellate levels; and providing legal advice and opinions to City officials, departments, and employees.
