This position is in the Oversight and Investigations Group (O&I Group) which advises and assists the Commission on conducting internal investigations, preparing for, and responding to, oversight inquiries and investigations by the U.S. Congress, the Government Accountability Office, and the SEC Office of Inspector General. The O&I Group advises and assists on executing internal investigations, negotiating the scope of oversight inquiries and preparing witnesses for congressional hearings. Typical duties of this position are:Serve as Counsel within the Oversight & Investigations Group of the Office of the General Counsel.Advise the Associate General Counsel with respect to scoping, design and execution of internal investigations.Advise the Associate General Couns
