CASA Staff Attorneys provide legal representation, in and out of the courtroom, to CASA volunteers and staff, providing advocacy for children in abuse and neglect proceedings in Richland County Family Court, in addition to performing related professional and administrative work as required. The Staff Attorney works within broad policy and organizational guidelines and does independent planning and implementation, reporting progress of major activities through periodic conferences and meetings. CASA Staff Attorneys can are often in court 3 to 5 days a week, so it is an excellent opportunity to learn, enhance, or utilize your trial skills while advocating for the safety and wellbeing of children.
