We are currently seeking a staff attorney to join our McDermott Discovery Group to be based in Chicago or Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have the background below.

Minimum of 4-5 years working in e-discovery, including substantial document review experience at all levels and phases of a project
Substantial experience working with and leveraging Relativity and other e-discovery technology tools to better manage, organize, and review data
Substantial experience analyzing and applying legal principles concerning HIPAA and privilege doctrines to discovery objectives
Experience managing multiple projects and working effectively within a deadline-driven environment
Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills, whether working independently or as a team member
Must be admitted to practice in the area applying, Illinois or Washington, D.C.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience in Intellectual Property litigation, including patent litigation, and patent prosecution preferred but not required
Experience working with TAR and other AI applications preferred but not required
Detail-oriented, with excellent organization and time management skills
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to completion
Positive client service, results-driven attitude
