We are seeking an experienced learning and development leader to manage attorney engagement initiatives, including but not limited to mentoring, ongoing feedback, well-being, integration, and DEI initiatives. The official position title will be commensurate with experience. This role will strive to develop strong relationships with Firm attorneys through engagement initiatives and check ins.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement initiatives to increase attorney engagement, in collaboration with Director of Learning & Development and other key stakeholders
- Revamp associate mentoring initiative
- Create a culture of coaching, support, and growth for all attorneys by implementing multi-pronged feedback initiative resulting from Firm’s unique collaboration with IDEO
- Manage Firm-wide well-being initiative: identify and collaborate with external well-being experts to provide meaningful programming; design creative initiatives to support the well-being of all Quarles personnel
- Design and implement first year associate, lateral associate, and lateral partner integration programing to facilitate effective transitions into the firm, including helping new Quarles attorneys create meaningful relationships and develop an understanding of firm resources and operations
- Collaborate with members of Learning & Development and DEI teams to support DEI training and initiatives
- Build strong relationships with Firm associates through the initiatives detailed above and through regular individual and small group outreach
- Engage in industry organizations (e.g., PDC, NALP, etc.), to stay abreast of updates and changes in the legal and learning & development fields. Recommend and implement creative solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- JD, Certification as a Professional Coach, or Graduate Certificate in Adult Learning a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably in the practice of law, teaching, adult learning and/or professional development in a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within team, across departments, and with individuals at all levels of an organization.
- Passionate about investing in and developing people.
- Strong client service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and paraverbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond flexibly to shifting priorities.
- Comfortable facilitating small groups and individual coaching.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.

Effective August 31, 2021, Quarles & Brady adopted a policy requiring all personnel to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
