Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking an attorney to join its Real Estate and Finance practice group in the Firm’s Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany offices. The successful candidate will have at least four years of experience in real estate transactions with a particular emphasis on commercial real estate development, commercial leasing, and real estate investment and financing. Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.

The practice group regularly counsels clients on the intricacies of commercial real estate acquisitions, financing and leasing matters throughout the country and on behalf of international clients, particularly from Canada. The firm's experience includes preparing and negotiating purchase and sale contracts and commercial leases, and advising on real estate brokerage contracts, construction agreements, tax credits and other governmental incentives, environmental matters, real estate issues for mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate financing.
