This position is part of the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), which represents The University of Tennessee, a statewide system of public higher education. This position will be involved in proactively advising a diverse group of University leaders on a wide variety of matters, including matters relating to sponsored research, research compliance, contracts and procurement, business transactions, and University policy. Specific areas of responsibility will be determined based on University and office needs and the successful candidate's interests and substantive background. The position may be located in the OGC's offices in Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Memphis, Tennessee, depending on the geographic preference of the successful candidate, but responsibilities of the position will involve service and travel to all campuses and institutes in the University system.
