National plaintiffs' law firm headquartered in St. Louis is seeking a full-time attorney who will be responsible for investigating and prosecuting personal injury and wrongful death cases involving exposures to asbestos. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, interviewing clients and witnesses (mostly by phone but occasionally in person), verifying product/premises exposures, obtaining records, drafting sworn statements, and preparing for/conducting depositions. Frequent travel might be required and preference will be given to applicants having 1-3 years of experience. Licensure in Illinois and/or Missouri is required and plaintiff/personal injury background is a plus. Applicants with previous asbestos defense experience cannot be considered.
