The Attorney Recruiting & Development Coordinator provides support to the attorney development and recruiting functions of the Palo Alto office in addition to overall department needs with special projects.
Essential functions of the role:
Provides coordination and support with CLE administration, including monitoring attorney bar admissions, and continuing legal education compliance.
Plans and implements training and professional development programs, often coordinating with the Attorney Development and Training teams in New York.
Coordinates various aspects of incoming and lateral orientations, includes designing orientation schedule and conducting ESS training.
Tracks and monitors attorney leaves of absence.
Provides coordination and support for attorney evaluations, includes inputting evaluations, compiling data in preparation for review meetings and ensuring timely completion of reviews.
Assists with coordinating and tracking mentor activities and expenses.
Coordinates various aspects of the attorney departure process.
Serves as a resource for attorneys in the Palo Alto office; may include having difficult conversations or escalating issues to supervisors (discretion is a must).
Provides coordination and support for all activities involved in law student hiring, campus outreach, and the summer associate program.
Coordinates various aspects of lateral and entry-level attorney recruiting.
Provides coordination and support with data-entry, applicant and expense tracking, departmental correspondence, prepares statistical information for internal and external use as needed.
Interfaces regularly with law school placement offices, legal recruiting professionals, and internal firm attorneys and management.
Assists with local office and on-campus diversity initiatives.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative experience, two of which was in a law firm or law school providing professional development and/or recruiting support.
