CARPLS, one of Cook County’s largest and most innovative legal aid programs, seeks a full time Supervising Attorney to oversee a state-wide legal assistance hotline as part a new Illinois Armed Forces Legal Aid Network (IL-AFLAN). The IL-AFLAN Hotline will partner with legal aid and pro bono providers across the state to deliver critical legal services to active duty military personnel, veterans, members of the national guard, reservists, and their spouses and dependents.
The Supervising Attorney for the IL-AFLAN Hotline will oversee all aspects of the project’s work, which includes: direct legal service, supervision of legal staff, development of legal content and training, and outreach to promote the project to clients, other legal aid providers, and community partners.
