The Portland City Attorney’s Office is seeking applications for an environmental attorney to work with its Portland Harbor Superfund Site team. Position requires a minimum of seven years of experience with CERCLA and other relevant environmental laws, including the Clean Water Act. Position will involve complex multi-party negotiations, liability allocation, written and oral advocacy, review of technical documents and working with an interdisciplinary project team. Environmental litigation experience is preferred. Salary depending upon experience.
Applicants must also possess:
A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Oregon State Bar Membership, in good standing, or membership in good standing in the Bar of another jurisdiction, with the ability to obtain Oregon State Bar Membership.
