The patent agent/attorney will work collaboratively with PCI staff and Penn inventors to search and assess patent prior art, draft and file patent applications, analyze patent prosecution materials, provide strategic advice on procuring patent protection, and provide general support and input across a broad swath of IP issues, including patent landscape and white space analysis to help identify new opportunities or address unmet needs. S/he will also work with Penn’s top tier faculty in a concierge-like capacity to provide strategic IP support.
