The Town Attorney is an at-will position that reports to the Town Council and is responsible for all functions and operations of the Town Attorney’s Office, which has 22 staff including the Town Attorney.
This position requires membership in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona within 3 months of hire. Typical qualifying education and experience would be: a Juris Doctorate and 10 years of extensive and relevant practice as an attorney. Three years of supervisory or management experience is highly desirable as is experience in a municipal or government setting. Salary range is $185,000 – $210,000, dependent upon qualifications.
